EPIDURAL VS SUBDURAL HEMATOMA
When bleeding occurs, the blood that
pools forms a hematoma. The
meningeal artery, which is behind the ear,
is a common site for an epidural bleed.
A subdural hematoma forms under the
dura mater after trauma.
It is venous in nature.
