Q. What is Vasospasm?
A. Mr P was admitted to the ICU with a ruptured Cerebral Aneurysm (after SAH) Following clipping of the aneurysm, his neurological status will be monitored in the ICU. He is at risk for Vasospasm. Vasospasm may occur following a Subarachnoid Hemorrhage. This is due to spasm of the blood vessels in the brain, causing lack of blood flow. Learn more:-
